Pakistan's former prime minister Benazir Bhutto was shot dead on Thursday when gunmen opened fire at her vehicle just before a suicide bomber blew himself up at an election rally addressed by her in Rawalpindi.

This was the news on the 27th of December, but now the cause of her death is being debated.
